The township contains the unincorporated communities of Blue Mountain Pines, Bossardsville, Hamilton Square, Kellersville, Kemmererville, Sandhill, Sciota, Snydersville, and Stormville, plus a portion of Saylorsburg. GeographyĪccording to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 38.5 square miles (100 km 2 ), of which 38.3 square miles (99 km 2 ) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km 2 ) (0.42%) is water. The Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church and Cemetery, Fenner–Snyder Mill, and Quiet Valley Farm are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The population was 8,635 at the 2020 census.
